No Alltel uses CDMA and sim cards is GSM
yes
Yes, since Verizon Wireless bought Alltel, you can use a Verizon Wireless phone on an existing Alltel plan.
Alltel uses SIM cards (GSM, etc.,) whereas sprint uses an alternative option that avoids use of SIM cards. Answer is an unequivicable NO.
"Yes. All phones need a SIM card, or it will not function." Actually, that answer is incredibly wrong. SOME phones use SIM cards. Some phones don't. A phone on the Verizon, Alltel, or Sprint networks do not use SIM cards as they operate on CDMA platforms. iDEN (an ancient Nextel system) or the global standard GSM (AT&T) use SIM cards.
Verizon Wireless does not use SIM cards unless it is a world phone. Only carriers that use GSM technology use SIM cards. Verizon Wireless uses CDMA technology. Since the phone uses different wave lengths and different technology, this can not be done.
No. The only Verizon Wireless phones that use SIM cards are Global Phones. SIM cards are only used for the GSM technology. Verizon Wireless runs off of the CDMA technology. So... if you switch the SIM card, the phone still won't work because it has nothing to do with the CDMA and that's what Verizon Wireless works off of. HOWEVER, you can activate a Verizon Wireless phone on an existing account by dialing *228 pressing SEND then choosing option 3.
There is no sim card in Verizon, Sprint, or Alltel phones. The reason is that they operate on CDMA technology which does not require sim cards.
I just purchased a Raisoo Peel T3. NO SIM CARD. You need to go to whatever wireless company you would like to use and purchase one. Raisoo is not a wireless provider, therefor they do not produce or distribute SIM cards.
the AT&T network, and the T-Mobile network both use SIM cards I know that Nextel and Sprint also use sim cards.
Cellcom in Wisconsin does not have sim cards, wish they did. I have heard that you can get a sim card from them but non of their phones have a spot for sim cards.

I use the Sim card From Telkomsel Flash. but I want to use sim cards from other providers can not because the modem is locked. how can I open it?
No, Cricket Wireless uses the CDMA (code division multiple access) technology. Cellphones that uses Sim Cards are running on GSM (Global System for Mobile Communication)
