yes it does i have a 01 eclipse gt......
YES
you can use regular or premium
yes. 90% of newer acura's require it. It should be in the service manual as well as on the instrument panel where the gas gauge is. " Premium unleaded only"
if you have a turbo engine you need premium gas, look inside your gas tank door and it will tell you what octane your car requires.
My 2003 eclipse spyder gt 6 cylinder owners manual says to use premium.
yes yes
It doesnt require any work all you have to do is fill it up with regular gas.
It is always best to have the manufacturer's suggested grade of gas. The Type-S requires 91 octane (premium at most places)
I have a 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP Comp G Supercharged, and it reccommends premium gas, but it does fine without it.
If you mean 2 stroke-oil/gas mix then absolutely NOT. If you mean regular or mid range gas then yes. Be aware though, only about 10% of the cars out there REQUIRE "premium" gas. Mainly the ones you and I couldn't afford anyway.
Sorta. You have to run premium gas in it at all times. Failure to run 91 octane or above will result in the car getting very bad gas mileage, run very badly in general, and can damage the engine. It technically burns any type of gas that would be used in it, but it does require premium gas to operate. That's why it states on the dash premium fuel only.
According to the link below these four cars require premium unleaded fuel.
