I know that if it has a plastic (tenite) forestock it also had a plastic buttstock. Manufactured probably in the 1940's or 50's.
I have the same shotgun, but I do not know much about it. Most of the engraving is worn and I can't read anything more than to know it is from Sears. Do you have any information on this gun? Thanks
If you're inquiring about a double barrel 12 gauge with double triggers, with Barrett Gun Co engraved on it, I don't think you are gonna find much info on it. I've had one for years and can't find anything about this company and if it ever even existed!
50-100 USD
Yes, very nice s/s with case hardened receiver, double triggers and English stock with fine checkering.
That will cause you to fail an emissions inspection. Anything which triggers the CEL will, because everything which triggers it will adversely impact the emissions system on that vehicle.
The twelvette is a double automatic, lightweight version with aluminum receiver unlike the standard double automatic which has a steel receiver. The twelvette came in black with gold trim with gold engraving in 1955-1971. From 1956 to 1961 some receivers were gray, brown or green anodized, and had silver engraving. All twelvettes seem to have gold triggers also. I have a 1958 double automatic with black receiver and gold trim plus a gold trigger. On the side of the receiver the word twentyweight is engraved on it and the gun weighs 6 lbs. instead of 6.5 - 7 lbs which is stated for the twelvette's weight. I haven't been able to find any information on it's history or value. If anyone has any information on it I'd appreciate hearing from you. I'd also like to know where I could see an exploded view of the assembly??? stuart13@alltel.net

Victoria triggers is a Youtube Star.
Blue Book of Gun Values will help.
It could be anything like an argument, financial problems, sad movie, a song. Anything in your environment can cause it. My number one trigger... stress.
The sinoatrial node triggers an impulse
They made a model they called a Regal. They had hand selected and cut checkered walnut furniture, jeweled or engraved bolts (the engraved was a deeply cut scallop pattern) high polished bolt, carrier, and lifter, and an extended forearm tube. The receiver was finished in a *dark*, high polished black and matching, dark blued barrels were fitted. Even the triggers and guards on the Regal were made specifically for it. The trigger guard was a high gloss, deep black synthetic while the trigger was gold and very smooth. The actions were so smooth that they could be pumped easily with a finger and a thumb. The Regals are distinguished by a gold "R" medallion on the right side of the receiver (early type) or a three-pointed gold crown medallion (late model) right above the trigger guard. The word "Regal" is engraved towards the front of the receiver's right side. Over the years, a large majority of them got parted out due to the fact that they were a specialty item. You couldn't buy barrels blued just for the Regals, nor forearms to fit the extended tubes etc. Most Regals today turn up with mismatched barrels, cheaper replacement stocks and modern short forearm tubes. The scalloped bolts and high gloss trigger guards are a rarity.
