Weeks ago I was watching a show on Military History Channel about the Tunisian campaign. I could not tell you the name of the show because I watch hundreds of them. Any way I remember the term Longstop Hill in Tunisia and I believe it was in the Kasserine Pass. I found a sight that shows a little bit of the hills in the Kasserine pass and there are some great maps too like they showed on the television show. I think the hill may have been a place where the Allieds retreated to during a battle but went on to win in Africa later on. See links below.

I missed one question on an Officer Candidate School test: figure the height of a hill by using some mathematical formula and I couldn't do it. Problem is, the tester couldn't do it either. Anybody out there know how to figure out how high a hill is so I can lob a dead mackeral over it?
