I have a postcard-sized painting by Henri Charles E. Sene from 1916. The back of it states (The Comite des Etudiants Americans de l'Ecole des Beaux Arts Paris guarantee the authenticity of this post card" (mixture of French and English!). It is also numbered. I believe that he lived from 1889 until 1961. artprice.com lists a number of his paintings that were sold from 1989 until 2005. I don't have the prices. Hope this helps you a bit.
While there may not be a specific book solely dedicated to Henri Sene, you may find information about him in art history books that cover the Atelier Cormon in Paris. Additionally, researching archives, museums, and academic resources in Paris may provide more detailed information about Henri Sene's life and work as a French artist who studied under Cormon.
