Game Specifics

Yahtzee Turbo is very different from regular Yahtzee. It comes with the Electronic Turbo Yahtzeegame unit (also called the "Big Die") and storage base, five multi-colored dice, and a deck of 48 cards.

Game setup is simple and quick.

1. Shuffle the cards and deal out five cards to each player. 2. The cards and then put face up in a pile in front of each player in any order they choose.

3. The game unit, which consists of a base and a large die goes in the middle of the playing area in easy reach of all players.

Playing the Game

1. Each player rolls a die and the one with the highest number goes first.

2. Slide the on/off switch on the bottom of the "Big Die" to the on position.

Now the game playing begins! The first player taps the "Big Die" and follows its instructions (the "Big Die" talks). Th player takes the dice and rolls them as quickly as possible, the goal to match the dice shown on their top card.

If the player matches all the dice, they tap the top of the "Big Die" to signal completion. This stops the clock. The "Big Die" will then compliment the player and give additional instructions, such as "give your top card to the player on your left", or "you have three extra rolls of the dice to roll a Yahtzee."

Play then moves to the next player and the sequence repeats. If the player doesn't match the card during their turn, the timer will run out and the "Big Die" will give additional instructions, such as "keep your top card" or "draw two cards", etc.

The Cards

There are six different cards in this game;

1. 3 of a Kind

2. 4 of a Kind

3. Small Straight

4. Large Straight

5. Full House

6. Chance

The cards either have a blue or red color strip. The red cards are more difficult to achieve. This is a nice feature, in that you can play the game with younger children and only play with the blue cards so they have a fair chance of winning.

The game ends when one player discards all of his or her cards.
