Best Answer

I go barefoot anywhere whenever I can. My feet have gotten progressively tougher. They are now so tough that I can go anwhere without shoes. Coarse gravel, rocks, woods pose no problem.

I know a fellow who never has worn shoes and he feet look as tough on the bottom as the toughest leather. I know he hasn't put on a shoe for over 30 years. I don't know how he does it.
