A Christian believes that we are all born sinners. Salvation from sin is not possible without Jesus. Hindus believe we are not born sinners. In fact, there is divinity within. Thus, according to Hinduism, human condition is one of ignorance. Overcoming this ignorance and recognizing divinity within is self-realization. Since Christians see man and God as separate, there can be no bridg to Hindu ideal.
