No it doesn't hurt them it's just about the same and they can eat the same food as Betta too. But i'm not sure for the other way around with Glofish conditioner. Be careful with that Betta though mine killed one :P
yes but it does not hurt
yes but only if yours is very hurt by the other betta fish.
no because the betta will fight, hurt or maybe even kill the guppie

no it does not . yooh feel nothing .
The betta itself doesn't have to wait 24 hours, but the water in the tank needs to have had conditioner put in it to take out the chlorine and ammonia. When you want to put the fish in, float the bag it is in in the tank water for at least half an hour so they reach the same temperature. Then add a little of the tank water to the bag, so he gets used to the new water chemistry. Wait a while longer, and then you can release it into the tank. If the change in temperature and chemistry are too sudden, the fish will go into shock and possibly die.
Yes I belive so. If there is a bunch of them it can realy HURT!
It floats upside down for 12 days.
no actualy i have a betta fish and i got him a floating mirror. it makes him exersize his fins. P.S make sure it floats if it doesnt move or float away as he hits it then it will hurt him. hope this helps you a bit... morgan S
By not adding other fish? You'll be surprised that in most cases its the betta who is the victim. Betta is such slow swimmer and they have large fin, which makes them perfect target for fin nippers. Although, you can add bottom feeders such as Corydoras catfish into the same tank as a betta, they do not occupy the same level.
Yes they can if there are items or decorations in their tank that could hurt them if they swam too close.
Simply follow the basic rules of fishkeeping which are :- 1 inch of fish needs at least 1 gallon of water (a Betta is a 3 inch fish and needs at least 3 gallons). :- Every tank needs a permanently running cycled filter. :- Every tank needs at least 50% of its water changed every week. Bettas are tropical fish and need to be ke[pt at around 78F. They should be fed a good "Betta specific" food morning and evening as much as they will eat in 15 minutes. If you follow the above rules your fish should do OK. If you miss out on any of the above I can guarantee that the Betta will be constntly getting sick and will live a shortened lifespan.
