yes some evidence does suggest that Big Oil supports Rick Perry's chance of election
The oil seal is at the back of engine around the end journal of the crank shaft. BIG JOB
Drivers side, all the way to the back, down by the oil pan.
There should be a cap on the back of your engine above the transmission, in big bold letters is the word oil, twist and fill. :)
both front and back oil seals are big jobs have to remove timing cover and timing chain on front seal and rear seal have to remove or at least slide back the transmission to get to it so is a really big job had one done cost almost as much as pulling out an engine
Check plug is at back of tranny big bolt by the flex pipe.Manual says so.
When someone says "big oil", they are probably referring to the major oil companies in the world. Big oil companies are BP, Shell, and Conoco/Phillips.
Remove the big bolt on the oil pan to drain it. Put it back on. Unscrew old filter and screw on the new one. Then pour new oil in at the filler on the valve cover.
It's really easy you get under the motor and there are two circle looking thing loosen up the small to drain the oil and then take out the big and clean out the oil screen and put it back together
No, a big bear has wet clutches in it and normal motor oil for car will tear up your clutches. valvoline has a motorcycle oil that is ment for wet clutches. and i belive casteroil does to but not for certain. Just always make sure you read on the back of the oil and make sure it is ment for wet clutches.
What bolt? If you mean the old drain plug , it will be self evident! Big mess on the ground and seized engine. There is no "bolt" to remove when you change your oil, only the oil drain plug.
You can't buy it. You have to buy his book and he instructs you how to make it yourself.
I have a 73 Super Beetle restored with a 1600 engine. Two questions. What is the best grade of Gasoline to use? Can you use Mobile One Oil? Thanks. Perry
