If you have ever smelled laundry bleach, or been in a swimming pool and noticed a smell to the water- that is the smell of chlorine (in a fairly mild form). Pure chlorine gas is pale green, has a choking, burning smell, and is deadly to breathe. Whether it is "worse" than the smell of wastewater would depend on the purity of the chlorine you smell- the more pure, the worse the smell.
Chlorine is more electronegative than sodium. The farther right you move on the periodic table, the more electronegative elements are. Thus, noting that sodium and chlorine are on the same period, and chlorine is farther to the right than sodium, we know that chlorine is more electronegative than sodium
Oxygen is more electronegative than chlorine. The electronegativity of oxygen is 3.44 and that of chlorine is 3.16 on the Pauling scale.
why is chlorine more reactive than sulphur? it is not an answer but am asking what is the answer to it please
It becomes an ion with a larger radius than the atom of chlorine
iodine has lower electronegativity than chlorine
Yes
Yes
better!
It probably would make it worse. Chlorine is heavier than water, so when the dispenser releases chlorine, it would sit at the bottom, rather than drift down.
Sunscreen and granular chlorine mixed in the water or a bucket should not be a problem but if you get granular chlorine on your skin make sure you wash it off quickly or you can end getting a chemical burn (much worse than a sunburn)
You probably do it everyday. Treated wastewater is probably cleaner than well water. It has all pollutants removed and is highly tested before being sent back into the system.
Snow is worse than rain. Ice is worse than snow.
Chlorine-37 has more neutrons in it than Chlorine 35

Hell is worse than purgatory.
Chlorine ion (particularly Chloride ion) is more stable than Chlorine molecule
