no - you cannot format an operating system if it is in use.! (but you could if you had it connected to another PC using that's operating sytem or if it was also on another partition of the same hard drive.)
You select the song by clicking on it, and then press the delete key, or just right click on the song and select delete song. You can delete multiple songs by control clicking (by pressing control as you click to select multiple songs) and pressing delete.
Of course you can delete your account on windows live just go on your profile and click EDIT and click delete account and then they ask, ARE U SURE, and you click, YES! and you are done.
Unfortunately there is no means of doing this. The easiest method is to hold down Ctrl while left-clicking each duplicate song and then pressing Delete
They aren't viruses. They are indexes of certain folders. Their presence allows the computer to know more quickly and efficiently what the content of any given folder is. There is no point in removing them because they will be created soon after you delete them.
Click on the photo to highlight it, then hit delete or right click the photo again and select delete, then confirm your selection by clicking yes.

Most cameras come with a USB cable to connect to the computer, Connect it to the computer and wait for the drive to appear in My Computer, right click the drive and click format. In the dialog box, click start, Windows will format(delete everything) drive.
