Not tonight but at 2am tomorrow morning,
does the clock go backwards
In the olden days the clocks went back an hour so that the farmers had more time in the light to do their farming, I don't know why they still go back now... I guess it's just a tradition. It has nothing to do with science or anything like that, its a law that they go back because its to dark in the mornings for children going out to school because they can get knocked down easily without being seen.
November 7th by one hour.
There will indeed be an extra hour of light in the morning.

Maybe, if the possibility of clocks going back ever happens, but it depends, maybe what you did would come back too, for example, your sleeping, and you set your clock to go back, but then the time goes backwards, and when you wake up, you are in math class. So I suggest you take what you have, its better than nothing.
It really depends on the clock. In general, a longer pendulum takes longer to go back and forth.
In the UK, clocks go back 1 hour at 2am on the last Sunday in October.
The times 1:00- 12:00 stay the same. When you would get to 13:00 then it would go back to 1:00 on a 12 hour clock. The minute part will stay the same.
does the clock go backwards
They don't. We just set them an hour ahead in the summer and back an hour in the winter. The clocks run at the same rate.
You loose an hour when clocks go forward. For example if you get up every day at 6am, after the clock change it really will be like getting up at 5am. You lost 1 hour at 2am, it will probably be darker where you are now in the morning. On the bright side of things, we get an extra hour of daylight.
