∙ 14y agoNo, cortana does not die in the game. All AIs eventually, after seven years, go rampant and literally think themselves to death, however.

∙ 11y agoIn Halo 4, Cortana has been in service for 8 years. AIs deteriorate after 7. Cortana is going rampant and long story short, she dies.
