the crank pulley bolt has standard threads.
They are standard right hand threads.

Some imports have a adjuster that is under the pivot bolt...check this.Also there may be a nut on the back side that is spinning. The threads are not left hand.
if you mean the one on the front holding on the damper its right.its just real tight
