Any drug which has effects on the liver could be a problem. The effects of additives and impurities in street drugs are unknown to me in this regard.

Has any of you ladies had experience this problem and if so what happened and was there any other kind of medicine the doctor put you on. Feeling depressed =(

Yes, but your actual fertility is unpredictable. Depo-provera or medroxyprogeterone acetate is an injectable progesterone. Each shot is roughly effective for 3 months. Depo-provera prevents the proliferation of your endometrium (the lining of your uterus) which means that your periods may become lighter or stop altogether. However, this is not a permenant change. Eventually, the levels of depo-provera will drop no matter how long you have been on it and you will be able to… Read More

Yes. I was on Depo for approximately 10 years with NO period and then to the pill for about a year with controlled periods. I have since stopped taking ANY type of birth control and have had long 2 week periods and even two full periods a month. It will eventually regulate if not ask Dr. about Provera.
No. The hormones detected by a pregnancy test is for a growth hormone the embryo produces to help maintain the pregnancy. The Depo Provera shot is a different type of hormone that has nothing to do with any hormones detected by a pregnancy test. A positive pregnancy test means you're pregnant, even if you are on or recently stopped Depo Provera. A negative pregnancy test means you're not pregnant, or that you took the test… Read More

Even though I take a low dose of ambien to help with sleep, it still is very hard to get any sleep. It stopped my period right away but I started having the insomnia and horrible sweats. I will most likely have to deal with the side effects because it is prescribed… Read More
