Emblem is a broader term which includes any object which is used as a symbol for a group, whereas a logo must be a specific drawing, a two-dimensional design. For example, a bald eagle is an emblem of the United States, no matter how it is portrayed, whereas the eagle on the Great Seal of the United States, which is a logo, must be drawn in a certain way.
