No, most countries assume allegiance.
The short version is certain people were offended because god was mentioned in it. And others felt stating allegiance to a country that is not there own ( why are you here then) is just straight offensive to them.
When a person changes their country, I think they have to pledge allegiance to their new Flag. Or else, they diminish the soverignty of that country.
everyone has there own opion but mine is a world we live in that god loves and his nation he made but it is a amzing thing!
it means to be loyalty and obedience to your own country. it also means that you can show respect for your country.
You have served us well. We respect your allegiance. Although the soldier's officers believed they commanded his respect, his real allegiance was to the men in his squad. His mother was a controlling, manipulating person who commanded her daughter's allegiance and would tolerate nothing less.
Each country will have their own pledges. You can find one for each country online with a quick search.
The Pledge of Allegiance Act reads as follows: "2. (1) Every person who, either of his own accord or in compliance with any lawful requirement made of the person, or in obedience to the directions of any Act or law in force in Canada, except the Constitution Act, 1867 and the Citizenship Act, desires to take an oath of allegiance shall have administered and take the oath in the following form, and no other: "I, ...................., do swear that I will be faithful and bear true allegiance to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the Second, Queen of Canada, Her Heirs and Successors. So help me God. "(2) Where there is a demise of the Crown, there shall be substituted in the oath of allegiance the name of the Sovereign for the time being. R.S., c. O-1, s. 2; 1974-75-76, c. 108, s. 39."
we should always honor them, because of their sacrifices, we're free and we have our own rights...its sad how America takes everything for granted. at least when saying the pledge of allegiance, we should just take a couple seconds to think about them:)
It depends on what your definition of "good" is. Every country is unique in its own history, culture, food, people, politics and so on. Therefore every country has its own good and bad points.
Every country has it own accent. Denmark too.
Some members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (commonly called the "Mormon" Church) advocate saying the Pledge of Alleigance in schools, and others do not. Some prefer not to say it altogether, believing that we should pledge alleigance to no person or object other than God. Many are indifferent about the issue. The Church does not have any official stance on the issue, Church members have their own opinions and beliefs on the matter.
Its depend on country...bcz every country have its own rules and regulation
