Should a boy's foreskin be retracted everyday for cleaning with soap and water?

The foreskin*of most newborn boys is stuck to the glans and cannot be retracted. Forcible retraction can result in tearing, scarring and infection, with the result that circumcision may become medically necessary because of the consequent damage. A boy will retract his foreskin when he is ready to do so, and it is normal for this to happen any time between the ages of 3 and mid-teens. although often it can happen well before this. After the foreskin has become retractable boys either know instinctively or can be shown how to gently retract and wash underneath it with water. Diluted soap can help with cleaning, but it must be thoroughly rinsed away so as to avoid irritation of the foreskin's sensitive inner surface. Too much soap can cause skin problems, such as eczema, that used to be blamed on the foreskin.

What is a long foreskin?

By examination of the word 'long' one would assume the question is referring to a foreskin greater than average. Average foreskin covers the glans of the penis completely when soft. When erect average foreskin typically slides back and exposes some if not all of the glans. If a man has 'long' foreskin, by description alone it suggests that the foreskin is of a greater/longer amount than average. Some men with longer foreskins can have an erection with no exposure of the glans. In other cases the foreskin can be long enough to cover the glans during erection with excess at the tip. Typically the position of the foreskin is dependant upon the elasticity and size of the frenum, which attatches the foreskin to the underside of the glans. The more flexible and abundant the frenum is, the more likely the foreskin is able to slide up and down.

Is there something wrong if you are a 12 year old boy and you can't get your glans over your foreskin?

You may need a circumcision if you have a tight foreskin. Do not force it out as this could be very painful and damaging. If you have tried gently moving the foreskin back n forth and it will not freely go over the glans then ask to see your doctor who will be best to advise you.

Do seals have foreskin?

Yes, the males do, as do most male animals.

Does your penis become circumcised over time?

No. Circumcision is a surgery during which a doctor cuts off part of the skin of the penis, called the foreskin. The vast majority of men in the world are not circumcised, but circumcision is practiced by some religious and cultural groups.Yes, for some individuals, the foreskin shortens due to the onset of puberty where the head of the penis grows at a faster rate than the foreskin. The glans would then be partially or completely exposed in the process thus becoming naturally circumcised. It is somewhat analogous to an adult wearing an overgrown size T shirt. However this varies from person to person and factors that might contribute to one becoming naturally circumcised after puberty include the shape of the glans and the length or shape of the foreskin of the individual.Read more: When_will_your_penis_change_from_uncircumcised_to_circumcised

Where would one find the frenulum?

If it is doing what it is supposed to do. which is cause the foreskin to move back over the glans of the penis when it is flaccid. it is easily distinguishable when puling the foreskin right back as a separate chord like entity that reaches from the glans to the foreskin for about 15mm until it seems to blend back into the foreskin. so it is not actually tight at all it only becomes tight when the foreskin is pulled back. the tightens of the frenulum may well be associated with the tightness of the foreskin round the penis itself. loosen the foreskin and you loosen the frenulum.

What is forkskin?

It's foreskin, not forkskin. Foreskin is the skin that covers the glans penis (penis head). Every male is born with it, but it's sometimes removed by circumcision. The only countries in which the majority of the population are circumcised are USA and Israel. Jewish people circumcise their boys for religious reasons, while Americans do it by tradition. The foreskin protects the glans and keeps it healthy and shiny, while circumcision allows the glans to become tough and less sensitive. During sexual intercourse the foreskin bunches up stimulating the female g-spot while cushioning penis and the vagina from friction causes by the bare glans rubbing against the vulva. Most men with a foreskin can retract it at well, and some do this to urinate or masturbate. Most men's foreskin will retract by itself when the penis becomes erect. In this state intact, and circumcised penises look the same other than the frenulum on the intact penis. If you want to learn more, read the wikipedia article on the foreskin.

Where is the prepuce located?

How foreskin is removed during intercourse?

The foreskin is not removed during intercourse. The foreskin is a double layer of very sensitive skin that covers and thus protects the glans penis. In the area where it is against the glans penis it is covered with a fine layer of mucous membrane. The foreskin is designed to be able to be pulled back wards exposing the glans penis entirely and then come back to cover it again on its own accord with the aid of the frenulum the ridged band inside the end of it puckers it in such a way as to hold it in place over the head. When you have sex the foreskin is pushed back as a result of the friction of pushing it into the vagina and as the penis moves back and forth so does the foreskin making the movement more pleasurable and less forceful for both male and female.
