No the only way to put your firmware back to v1.5 is to use a pandoras battery. formatting you memory stick just erases all data such as any music, videos, pictures, downloaded games, etc.
Depends on weather the memory stick is formatted or not as formatting takes up space on the memory stick, Formatting is essential for you stick to work on your operating system :)
It is impossible without the use of a Pandora Battery or Magic Memory stick.
change the Pandora battery and the magic memory stick back to normal.duh.
You probably don't have custom firmware
A 'magic memory stick' is a specially prepared memory card, and a Pandora's battery. Either way, you need the new firmware on a memory card.
Cause you need to make you PSP Go To the lowest firmware (kinda like downgrade) Then you can install you custom firmware
Go to settings, system settings, and click the restore default settings button and there won't be any password on your PSP! Luckily, this won't format the memory stick. And if you want to format it, then go to setting, system setting and then memory stick and there you will see the format memory stick button and formatting means resting or deleting (just to those who don't know)
I'm not sure what you mean by "the mod" but I think you may be referring to a "custom firmware". If so, you can safely format your PSP's memory stick without removing the custom firmware. This is because the custom firmware is stored in the internal PSP flash memory, not on your memory stick. If you want to remove the custom firmware, you will need to just install an official firmware onto the psp. The easiest way to do this is to put in a PSP game that comes with a firmware upgrade and choose that option. Then I would recommend having the psp do a Network Update.
At pspiso, you can download isos and csos. You need a custom firmware to play them. (psp-hacks.com) After you get ur firmware, put the isos, or csos, in an iso folder on your memory stick
If you have official firmware you can only play demos If you have Custom firmware you can play all kinds of games So You Don't have custom firmware
All the magic memory stick did was hold the firmware software, which the modding process copied to the PSP's internal Flash0 memory. You can freely remove the magic memory stick after the process, or wipe it for regular PSP use.
U Dont Play..thts more better.....lolzz
