Relay xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx If you are referring to a General Motors car there is a recall on the circuit boards for some cars and trucks.
As per www.totalrecallinfo.com there is only a recall on tires for this model.
General Motors is well aware of this problem but has not issued a recall because they state it isn't a safety issue. From 2002 & up the "STEPPER MOTORS" in the instrument cluster become defective. Speedometers will read incorrectly, tachometers will read incorrectly, gas, oil, water temp & amps will defect as well. I rebuild clusters locally (Upstate, SC) for $89.00 which include replacing all the stepper motors & calibrating the gauges to read correctly. This will eliminate the problem. Make sure whoever you let replace you stepper motors has the knowledge to solder circuit boards with low heat and has done them before. Don't be a "Guinea Pig". This is a delicate fix and if someone doesn't know what they are doing, they will do more damage than you were already experiencing!
this dick
Your dash cluster is starting to go bad. A common problem along with the fuel pump. GM should have been issued a recall in my opinion. You can find many cluster repair service shops on the Internet. Be sure to have all step motors replaced. A step motor is what controls each function on the cluster i.e. fuel, RPM, temp, oil ect...
07 Tahoe cracked dash
The 2002 Nissan Altima has one recall. The recall for this years make and model is that the air bags are defective. The air bags sensor does not work as expected. This is not a safety recall and dealerships must replace them free of charge.
you can tell your car is defective if it isnt working
A bad ignition switch can shut down a vehicle's electrical system. Ignition switches have been the cause of a major recall by General Motors.
