nope
is their recall 04 tahoe instrument panel cluster
Check this page for details on which models and years are covered plus the mileage restrictions on the recall: http://drspeedometer.com/silverado-instrument-cluster-recall.,
As per www.totalrecallinfo.com there is only a recall on tires for this model.
could be a bad instrument cluster panel, they had a recall on the instrument cluster panel. I had my speedometer stop working and was given a price to fix it and blew it off. Then the recall came and I got a new instrument cluster and that fixed the problem which they knew they had.
i have the same problem. i just got back from the dealer. they said it is either an instrument cluster or ignition switch. ugh!
As per www.totalrecallinfo.com NO. the instrument cluster still does not have the recall but you can fix the problem with a cheap part and a little time. you can get on eBay and order a stepper motor for the speedometer and disassemble the cluster then de-soldier the old stepper motor from the board and replace with the new one that you have ordered. I found the motor for $12 on eBay. but i am still curious about the vehicle speed sensor issue down by the transmission. The cluster does have a recall on it. It only last until 80000 miles thou.
Call your local Chevrolet dealer and ask them if there are any recalls on your vehicle. Have the VIN handy because they're going to ask for it.
you mean the sensor at the engine? try the Chevy website- there was a major recall on the 04 aval instrument cluster-good luck
I may be mistaken, but I don't think you can change the gauges. I think I recall seeing here, that you must replace the entire instrument cluster.
I don't know why it happens, but there is a factory recall on the instrument cluster for 2000-2006 S class. It is a transferable warranty extension for 10 years from the original warranty start date of the vehicle. Mileage is unlimited.
I wish but at this moment there is not. I have put a call in to complain as we are once again at the dealer replacing height sensors. I think Ford/Lincoln need to offer conversion kits and reimburse for repairs. There is something definitely not right about the build of this suspension.
yes, there was a recall on instrument panel. specifically the speedometer/odometer would malfunction... I received the recall in the mail and had it taken care of at dealer with no cost
