It depends what "hurt" means. To me, all I felt was a small pinch. But for some people, it was dramatic. It isn't horrible, just go to a doctor. They have sterile materials and know what they are doing. Once they are, you need to rub rubbing alcohol on them. It may sting for a few weeks, until they heal.
