no; i do believe that most dyes are safe, however, i read that kool aid (sometimes used for colouring hair) has an ingredient, Butylated Hydroxyanisole, and it is considered carcinogenic (cancer causing) i dont know if this is true, but checking more sites about the chemical might help.

my mum used to use alot of hairspray and she died of Breast cancer
No, but it can damage hair and cause dandruff if you don't wash it out within a day. I used to put lots of hairspray in my hair when I was 10 and I got the 2 1st symptoms I explained. I quit using it and started using a different shampoo and my hair was healthy again.

No- but too much exposure to the sun CAN cause cancer- spray tanned or not.
