I actually found no difference. If you don't count the aliens blood. overall it is the same.
the first halo was considered m, because of the constant blood an gore in the game. though when you look back at it now, the game seems more of a teen rating than m. you can also barely see the blood. it is usually on the walls.
yes there is much more to do than halo 3
Gore-tex tends to be crunchy and more expensive than in-house waterproofing.

It depends on what you like the most. I personally like Gundam more than Halo
Halo Reach has been the best seller but now MW3 is now popular than Halo Reach
Call of duty is more realistic than halo and contains more blood. Call of duty also allows you to knife so in many ways halo is more appropriate but it doesn't necessarily mean its more fun.
Codmw2 was probably bought more than halo reach because halo r is newer. Though I am a halo reach fan.
No
I don't think so. It's more comedy and action than gore, and I didn't see any blood. Nothing scary etc. It's rated PG-13 for 'violence', but nothing serious.

Saw 3D had TONS of gore in it. More so than the others. And a few traps that just barely made it onto the 'big' screen because of the gore.
