I went to L'oreal's web site and requested a copy of their policy on animal testing, but when I clicked on the button to get this information I got the "this page not available" message. hmmmm..... how convenient. I never buy their products.

Sometimes they do and sometimes they don't. I am a very strict vegetarian and am completely against animal testing. I've started reading the back of the bottles. They should say "Cruelty Free" if it is not tested. You could also try calling the number on the bottle too and ask the company yourself if the bottle doesn't clearly state it. The brand of soaps "I Love..." are 100% cruelty free and smell amazing. I highly recommend it. I buy mostly all of my cosmetics cruelty free now, including makeup and my hair dye. Hope this helps :-)
