I dont think so because I have been using it to heat my leather event riding boots which cost thousands and if anything it is making them softer.
Heat e.g. steam will open up pores in leather and soften it up so I dont think a bit of heat will damage it I know leather cannot be set on fire so unless it is excessive radiator heat then I dont think it can :)
Yes it will, if left on long enough on high, the heat can create a brown hardened leather, and yes, it looks like a burn mark. this is from first hand
The leather will not damage the outside of a laptop it is designed too protect your laptop from damage.

fleece holds more heat then leather, the fleece has many air pockets and resists heat transfer better than leather. leather is good for blocking wind chill but performs poorly as an isolator.
Yes it does, it works really well. Do not believe the hype that it will damage your leather.
Super glue won't damage leather, but many methods of trying to get it off may damage the leather !If the super glue is only a small and inconspicuous piece you may be better off just to ignore it.

Cutting holes in a leather jacket can certainly be interpreted as damage, yes. But, adding studs, spikes, buttons, and chains to a leather jacket will inherently add holes, thereby weakening the strength of the leather and making it more susceptible to ripping and tearing. Or, viewed another way, one man's damage is another man's fashion.
I have leather furniture in my living room and it needs to be cleaned. Are there any furniture cleaners that can be purchased to use on the leather without damaging it?
If your leather upholstery is cracking, it needs someone to repair it. You can have a local repair shop or leather shop give you an estimate. They have a leather fix it kit on eBay, if the damage is not too severe.
There are a few ways to remove heat stains from leather. You can try massaging the leather with something like olive to redistribute the oil to help replenish the oil. You can also try a shoe repair place to get leather products. There are also some leather-safe pens that can be used to color those marks in.
