if the horse pins its ears back it is mad but if it is just moving them back and forth that is OK
ears forward-happy ears to side-content ears flat back-aggressive, in pain ears slightly back-listening behind them
back is either listening to commands or is frustrated. pinned right back means they are very angry and aggresive. At the side means they are calm and listening. If they are flicking back and forth they are listening to you and something else or they are confused. Forward means they are alert and listening to something ahead of them. Hayley
Listen to me, i have grown up with horses so i know what im talking about-Forward- Curious, Slightly back, just turned back- focused, Pinned flat back- Angry, startled, scarred,
If your horse has it's ears slightly back then that means It's listening to something behind them. However, if your horse has it's ears pinned back all the way, then that means it's angry at or scared by something.
Tamed horses have many behaviors. First of all they use body language. A horses ears sofly held and facing sideways represents a happy and relaxed horse. If the horses ears are up and facing forward it means that the hore is aleted about something: it doesn't spook the horse(not yet) If the horse's ears are flat againts their head this means they are seriously mad about something. If a horse's ears are facing backwars slightly it means that the horse is listening to something. Lastly, if the horse's ears are flicking back and forth veryy quickly asnd his head is heald high it means that the horse is worried, spooked, and scared. Horses neigh and call. This is like a request to find out where other horses are. Horses squeal, nicker, and whinny too. Horse will kick and bite.
Sorry, had to delete the answer in front of mine. I have been around horses for 12 years. I would know. When they are slanted backwards, he is paying attention to you, and is relaxed. When pinned back, flat against the head it is VERY mad, BACK OFF. When perked forward, it sees something, or is in a high strung mood. When you first approach a friendly horse, no doubtingly it will have its ears forward.
if you mean in English than no, it cant but they can speak with their bodies and neighs to other horses like if a horse puts it ears back its angry or if they are forward it is happy. with enough reading you can learn to "speak" their language :) i hope this helps
The ears tell you a great deal! Watch the eyes and ears. Horses are very willing partners to many activities. If the ears are forward and up we have a happy and interested horse. Laid back and we have a mad horse.
kickback
Well if the horses ears are just slanted backwards a little it means the horse is listening to you. but if the horses ears are all the back where they are touching the back of there neck then they are very mad.
The word that means forward when used for a fetal pig is "anterior." It is the opposite of posterior, which is the back or tail area.
Well if a horses ears are laid back, that means a horse feels scared or threatened.
