I went in to have mine done with my sister, she was getting her lip done so whilst she was doing that the other man froze my tongue, it didn't numb completely but it did a bit. They lay me down, wiped my tongue so it weren't that wet, put a clamp on it to hold it in place, dot it with a special pen, and then push the needle through it, mine were actually a needle, it was more of a very sharp plastic. It hurts but no bad, once I got out I was eating pizza, but just ot be sure I got listerine and a new toothbrush and to keep it cool, I'm having lots of slush puppies! YAY!
