Put a clamp on your tongue.
Then poke the needle through.
They usually use a 16-14G Needle.
I went in to have mine done with my sister, she was getting her lip done so whilst she was doing that the other man froze my tongue, it didn't numb completely but it did a bit. They lay me down, wiped my tongue so it weren't that wet, put a clamp on it to hold it in place, dot it with a special pen, and then push the needle through it, mine were actually a needle, it was more of a very sharp plastic.
It hurts but no bad, once I got out I was eating Pizza, but just ot be sure I got listerine and a new toothbrush and to keep it cool, I'm having lots of slush puppies! YAY!
Sure go for it. Just take good care of the piercing and make sure it doesn't get infected. If you see any signs of infection remove the piercing immediately.
You sure can! Yesterday I got two adjacent piercings in my tongue. (Side-by-side, not front-to back.) Apparently I have lots of blood vessels in my tongues, so each piercing was done at a different angle. The entry points on top of my tongue are symmetrical, but because of the pattern of blood vessels on the underside of my tongue, the exit points look crooked and uneven. However no one sees the underside anyway! It's the top that is aesthetically pleasing. An experienced piercer should be able to pierce your veiny tongue! :P
No. The ear piercing gun and stud are designed to be used on earlobes only. The tongue is a complex group of two major muscles joined by connective tissue and convered by over 10,000 tastebuds and pain receptors. Tongue piercing is intended to go between the muscle groups at least* (*at minimum) to a depth of 3/4 of an inch from the tip of the tongue. The ear piercing gun will not have the reach nor will the studs be long enough to allow for the swelling the will take place after the piercing is done.
Man that was dumb! You should never allow an unlicensed person to pierce anything on your body. Do you realize he could have severed a nerve which could make your tongue limp forever? If it is crooked, you should take it out and let it heal. If you really must get your tongue pierced because you want to be an individual who is unique (like everyone else), get it done by a professional! Take it out and have it redone as stated above. However, the issue of actually severing all the nerves in your tongue at once is impossible so that statement was utter bull.
Pierce lived longer. Pierce was almost 65 he died; Arthur was just 57.
Your tongue should maintain its pink color after you pierce it.
