That depends. If you take a part time job that has no relationship to your previous work, you are not continuing to develop your career. But then, going to school could be part of your career development, and the part time job may be irrelevant in terms of your resume. You do not have to record everything that you do, only record information that will help a prospective employer to understand why you are qualified for the job for which you are applying.
