The Bible says in Exodus 20:8-10: "Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is a sabbath to the Lord your God."

This means that actually Saturday is the actual day of worship. Join a Seventh-day Adventist church. God loves you!

Answer:

It probably depends on who or what you're worshiping.

The God of the Bible demands the "obedience" of His people. Invariably, He commands those who would worship Him to: "Obey My voice."

"Now therefore, IF YE WILL OBEY MY VOICE INDEED, and keep My covenant... (Ex.19:5).

It should be understood, however, that the God of the Old Testament was "the WORD of God"... who was and is Jesus Christ [see John 1:3]. And He demands the worship of His people [their obedience] EVERY DAY.

"Ye are My friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you." (John 15:14)

If a person worships "the ground someone stands on"... or worships "an idol"... or worships some other inanimate object, their job, an I-Pad, a computer console or game, a car, a house, etc. -- then these kinds of "objects of worship" probably aren't making any demands on anyone, and the servant of these things can worship them at his leisure any time he wants.

As for the allusion to the "Sabbath day Commandment" of God... that isn't a "command to worship" -- it's God's Command to "REMEMBER CREATION."

"...For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day, and hallowed it." (Ex.20:11)

This commandment is a call to God's people to REMEMBER HIM. REMEMBER that He is their Creator... and of all the universe. It's a commandment to NOT FORGET HIM. That man's Creator is remembered by remembering the seven-day CREATION every seventh day of the seven-day week that God inspired for man for that very purpose.

"...The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath: therefore the Son of Man [as Jesus called Himself] IS LORD ALSO OF THE SABBATH." (Mark 2:27-28)

As for this particular "day" that God commands His people to "remember" Him: To keep it by Remembering Creation is OBEYING GOD'S VOICE -- and obeying God's Voice is WORSHIPING HIM!

Ignoring the Commandment... is to DISOBEY Him. And mankind's demanding God is a jealous God... and whether or not His people obey Him DOES matter to Him. Even if it doesn't matter to them.

God taught His people that lesson through their bellies and the manna that He fed them over a period of forty years in the wilderness:

"Six days ye shall gather it; but on the seventh day, which is the Sabbath, in it there shall be none. And it came to pass, that there went out some of the people on the seventh day for to gather, and they found none. And the Lord said unto Moses, HOW LONG REFUSE YE TO KEEP MY COMMANDMENTS and My laws? See, for that the Lord hath given you the Sabbath, therefore He giveth you on the sixth day the bread of two days; abide ye every man in his place, let no man go out of his place on the seventh day." (Ex.16:26-29)

To "worship" God is a "master/slave" relationship. And OBEDIENCE is required of a servant. Fear, respect and obedience. Any other attitude is "rebellion"... "disobedience" -- not "worship."
