It depends on how much you loved them. Every individual is different. Actually, split-ups are like grieving for a loved one that has passed away. Grief is not just for the dead, but love lost; loss of a home due to fire or flood, etc. If you didn't care that much for the person then it would only take about 2 weeks to get over the part of being use to having them around, but if you really loved them there is just no time on grief.
