No. To date the Doctor has never made an appearance on Torchwood; although there have been several references to him both direct and indirect. The Doctors hand can be seen throughout series 1 and the TARDIS noise is heard in the series 1 finale followed by Jack's disappearance and is a direct tie-in to the 3 part Doctor Who series 3 finale. The Doctor is also mentioned by name several times in Torchwood despite him never actually appearing.
The Doctor is never in Torchwood, but at the end of 'End of Days' you can hear the TARDIS and then Jack is in 'Utopia' which is the eleventh episode of series three of Doctor Who
No, as of 2012 he has never currently been on Torchwood. However characters from Torchwood (mostly Captain Jack Harkness) have appeared in Doctor Who.
From the Torchwood team's perspective, Jack was gone about a year, I think.
Torchwood is a spin off of Doctor who and stars John Barrowman as Captain Jack Harkness. It's based in Cardiff, and the time rift that goes through it. The Doctor is not on Torchwood but Jack is on Doctor Who.
Captin Jack is a fictional man, from the BBC series Doctor Who and Torchwood.
Captain Jack had a relationship with Ianto Jones in Torchwood. He's also kissed other people like Captain John who is his ex. On Doctor Who he kissed both the Doctor and Rose.
The House that Jack Built - Torchwood - was created in 2009.
