Actually Dragon Ball Z Kai has all the filler episodes cut out and like 200-ish episodes are cut back to 100 or so episodes and its digitally remastered so there's new music and I think the characters were brought back to redo the voices. Added: Kai is a digitally remastered yes but the reason for even to redo the series was because it was considered too long and was summarized and shortened in Dragon Ball Kai. (P.S.
