It shouldn't. If there is no actual power to the CRT (no picture visible) then there really can't be any degradation of the tube.
I don't really know, but it let me out of picture mode when I mashed lots of random buttons.
No, many people will recommend to turn it off if you are leaving it unused for a very long period of time, but it can not actually damage the computer.
It sounds like the starter relay is the clicking sound. Check to see if power is leaving the relay when the switch is turned to starting mode.
It sounds like you have a power supply problem. The capacitors on the switched mode power supply have changed value or failed completely. Replace or repair the power supply section.
A PC in sleep mode typically consumes between 2-10 watts of electricity, which is significantly less power than when it is fully operational. This lower power usage helps to conserve energy and reduce electricity costs compared to leaving the PC running.
When you put your computer in stand-by mode below are the things that happen in general- 1)Your processor goes into sleep mode(In this mode it stops processing but saves its state) 2)RAM goes into sleep mode(It saves state, and read write are not allowed to save power-Depends on your mother board) 3)Devices like mother board and keyboard or speakers are cut off power. All this saves power and also saves overworking of your devices. And so it is a good practice to out your computer into Standby mode when leaving it for short period of time.

SMPS stands for switched mode power supply
Go into the menu and look for picture mode settings. The TV might be in the "store or demo" mode. These settings would make the picture too bright for home use.
I'm guessing the power mode is the same thing as Overdrive. Basically you only want to use power mode if you are hauling something with your vehicle.
/damage it disables all your damage same as godmode
In multiplayer mode under special battle, it has a mode where you can take pics.
