Yes it definitely can! The acid in the water especially if it is fresh lemon water burns off the fat content in the food that you eat. My daughter has a friend who is a model, and this is what she drinks all the time to stay slim, my daughter tried it and it actually works. You buy a fresh lemon, and put a slice of it into a bottle of water, carry it around with you and when you feel thirsty just drink this and nothing else. I hope tis helps :))

No, it does not "make" you lose weight. However, if you drink plain water with plain fresh lemon rather than drinking sodas, that removes many calories and carbohydrates from your diet. In that sense, yes it can help you to lose weight.

It helps you lose weight but not by a lot, it is most effective when taken straight after food as the acid from lemons can burn away the oils from the food you eat leaving only the good fat.
