Sometimes it does. It would depend on the brand of ice cream and the flavor.
It is better to loose taste, it is less sensible.
I like them with both but I would have to say margarine because that is less expensive and out of the two I like them with margarine better.
It is not as thick as cream cheese, making for a less than desirable consistency, and it wouldn't taste right.

Firstly, frozen ice cream numbs the taste buds which makes it less sensitive to sense the flavour. Also, molecules in the ice cream move slower in lower tempersure. What's more, compounds must be soluble in the seliva in order to be sensed by the taste buds. At lower temperature, for most compounds, solubility decreses while the temperauture decreases.
Milk, the cream rises to the top therefore the cream is less dense
Yes it can be substituted. Heavy creams are better avoided even if we need to compromise with the taste, talking from the health point of view. the amount OS heavy cream is less in sour cream, and the combination of sour cream to the pasta gives it a new unusual tinge which is very appealing. but u need to plan well ahead as preparation of sour cream takes near abt 24 -25 hours. enjoy.
