Yes it could be possible indeed. Neptune is mostly made up of hydrogen, helium, and methane. Because Neptune has lots of hydrogen it could be possible that it contains large oceans of water, because you have water you can have life... now that's a proven fact and some people might disagree with me but there are several examples of it on Earth.

After many, many, many dives into Earths deep ocean we have discovered large portions of life on coral reefs. This life has been estimated to live down there for billions of years so far and has not seen a day of light because they are miles down beneath the ocean. This life in OUR ocean has also dealed with the very large amounts of pressure 1000 times greater than what we have on the surface.

If life can exist deep beneath OUR ocean with no sunlight and very high amounts of pressure, it cane very well be contained on any planet or moon containing large amounts of water, including Neptune. These living organisims may not be intelegent though if that's what your asking. :)

No, Neptune has no atmosphere. If it did, it could have life on it.

Many scientists believe that Neptune could have life because underneath of all the ice on Neptune, there is water and nutrients. Many people believe that the life that might be there would be aquatic animals that may look similar to the fish at the bottom of the Mariana trench. Bottom line, it's only a theory and nothing has been proved

No, there is no life on Neptune and there never will be.

Neptune is a freezing gas giant. Water does exist there, but it is frozen solid. No life can evolve in frozen water. There is not enough heat for liquid water to exist and there is not enough light for plants to grow (plants equals oxygen and food).

Neptune is also very stormy, with winds reaching well over 2,000 MPH. Couple this with the fact that the winds also contain rocks and ice, a living thing would be shredded to pieces.

Also, because Neptune is a gas giant, it does not have a solid surface. Any living thing walking on the planet would sink into it and be vaporised by the molten core.

It depends on the organism. Scientists have not yet found a life form that can survive within Neptune's atmosphere. There is also not a sufficient supply of oxygen on Neptune, so humans and other human-like creatures (if they exist) cannot live on Neptune.

No. It is impossible for anything to survive on Neptune for the following reasons:

  • Neptune is freezing. Too freezing to support life
  • There is very little sunlight, which means plants can't grow. No plants means no breathable air or food
  • Neptune is a gas giant. Meaning it has no solid surface. If anything stands on Neptune, it will sink into the planet and be incinerated by the molten ammonia core
  • Neptune is very stormy. Life would be blown off into space
  • The gasses on Neptune are considered poisonous to life

Maybe aquatic life. I can recall an inadvertently funny science-fiction show on this premise- called- The Fish-Man attacks! subtitled XL5 ( name of the space craft) to H2O ( chemical formula for water) Like I say it was intended to be funny.
