If you want it to, then yes. If you scrub with a sponge nicely it'll come off but if you want it to stay on don't use one. But remember there might be some streaking regardless!
I love HEMPZ brand daily tanner but if you want one that works really good in one day try the Loreal Sublime tan. It gives you a nice brown tan NOT orange at all. The one I use gives you color right away, i think it is called "instant action" to make it easier to apply, mix it with regular lotion. This helps stop the streaking
Bronzing lotion works by darkening the skin to give it a tanned appearance. Bronzing lotions basically die the skin and will fade or wash away in a few days.

Swedish Beauty actually offers a product in their Botanicals line specifically for tanners with eczema. It's called Shea You Love Me. It was Swedish Beauty's number one selling tanning lotion in 2010. It contains apple, oatmeal and shea butters plus Vitamins A & E plus Aloe. It's a fragrance free lotion as well. Besides all the skin care it contains their Bio Bronze Blend which contains natural melanin enhancers. There really is no better tanning lotion for people dealing with eczema.
