People in America consume about 2 pounds (for us Brits 4.4 kilograms) of what is so called as "dirt" by the processing food industries. "dirt" can be anything that is not considered edible-actual dirt, bugs, insects, and rats even. There is a story from someone i know that told me that they worked in a company that made lemon pies. A rat got into one of the big tanks of lemon filling. He called his boss asking if he should remove the creature but his boss told him to leave it in because they were allowed to have 2 pounds of dirt a year. So that rat was ground up and mixed into the lemon pie filling..."very appetizing".
yes horrible i know! Actually you don't because 1. whos to know how many bugs you eat and 2. in bugs, 1 pound would be in average 130! lol

The average person eats approximately one pound of bugs a year. The number of bugs that a human eats stays pretty consistent through adulthood.
how many bugs does an average person eat a year?

no, seven insects a year, and this is whilst they sleep.
Possibily maybe 2! yes the average one does
Maybe instead of asking questions you should spend some of your time studying grammar as the question is not legible. It should read 'DO Human beings' eat about a pound of insects every year?' Oh and the answer - f*ck knows
bugs, animals, and fruit
this is true, we eat at least a pound of insects each year without even knowing! It is usually when we eat cabbage or lettece without cleaning them!
yes and it is very good for you
The FDA allows an average of 60 or more insect fragments per 100 grams of chocolate. ENJOY!
