Yes, pancakes have carbs. They are considered Complex Carbohydratres. If you add butter and/or syrup, you add even more carbs. These ingredients are called Simple Carbohydrates. (The body breaks down the carbs in the pancakes more slowly than the butter or syrup). Buckwheat pancakes, which are actually REALLY good, are lower in complex carbs than most other types.
