Actually believe it or not it does..it may cause irritation in the eye so it will be hard to sleep.But don't worry it's normal I have a pink eye right now and I'm having trouble sleeping. What is best is to wash your with nothing but water or splash it against the face, it should relax the irritation. Most times it itches or burns or may even water and extract puss. So after you wash your face, sleep on your back. It often helps because ur not sleeping on it or letting any type of Herman that may come

∙ 11y agoUsually it does not, due to the fact that it is a bacterial infection, and not a viral type of illness. Any antibiotics you may be using to treat pink eye may cause you to be drowsy. The eye drops used to treat pink eye would most likely not make you drowsy either.
