No, Planet X is not real and will not end the world, the whole 2012 end of the world theory came to be because of the Mayan Calender, this calender ends on December 21st 2012 which is the said dooms day, however December 21st is the end of a cycle in the Mayan calender, its exactly the same as New Years Eve, and just as you would take your calender down and put up a new one on the 1st of January you do the same to the Mayan calender. It is said that Planet X or Nibiru is meant to collide with Earth on this day, this is rubbish, if you calculate where Planet X would be at the current time, it would be clearly visible. NASA maps the sky on a regular basis, these maps have never included Planet X.

However when science put an end to the Planet X theory, the doom sayers have said things like, the suns poles will shift and a galactic alignment will occur, it is highly likely that the suns poles will shift around this time, but never fear, this happens every 11 years and nothing has happened to Earth any of the other times, and there is no scientific reason that something would happen this time.

A galactic alignment will not occur, it is impossible to say when a galactic alignment will occur and nothing could possibly happen to our planetary system if it did occur.

Just remember all the other dooms day dates such as Y2K, none of these ever happened and it will be the same on 2012, December 22nd will just be a normal day on the planet Earth.
