Ringworm is a fungal infection of the skin. If you think your cat has ringworm you should take it to an animal doctor (a vet) for a confirmation of this diagnosis. The vet will then prescribe a treatment (probably an ointment) to treat the condition.
See the related link below for more information.
If your pool is chlorinated or salted, there will be no problem because this will kill it.
If mosquitoes laid eggs in your pool and shock treatment does not kill them, you can get rid of them using bleach. Pour chlorine bleach into the pool to kill them.
The amount of chlorine normally used to shock a pool should kill and larvae and other living things in the pool.
You need to scoop it out then super shock the pool and run filter. There is a chance of E Coli bacteria so you need to make sure you shock the pool well
Pee. I know it sounds gross, but ringworm is killed by urine. I know there is a lot of controversy around the difference between peeing in the pool and peeing into the pool, but in this case i would recommend the latter. Or you could just raise the PH balance. Why did you go for saltwater anyhow? Good old-fashioned chlorine.
Backwash first then shock. If you shock and then backwash you will be throwing away the shock you just put.
Chlorinate it to the max or shock the pool An get some algaecide into it as wel as well.
It may kill the algae but the algae needs to be filtered or the pool will remain green and cloudy You need to dissolve the chlorine and pour around the pool then brush the pool in order to not damage your plaster. This will help get the chlorine throughout the pool.
3800 gals of pool water shock it with 1 gal bleach
There is chlorine shock and non chlorine shock. Fo chlorine shock, which is the normal shock, it is the same a s Chlorine but unstabilized, so it will not last in the pool very long.
You do not need to remove it.
Ringworm is caused by fungus, not algae.
