It is a unborn baby, after the first few cell divisions following fertilization and before becoming a fetus. An embryo bears little or no resemblance to a baby, but a fetus is clearly recognizable as a tiny version of a baby. The two month old baby
The female fetus has a Y chromosome while the fetus only has two x chromosome.
The term "fetus" refers to the stage of development after the embryo. The two-cell stage of development comes well before the embryonic stage. There is no point at which a fetus, by definition, has two cells.
Yes it will. I was using medicare for it for two years.
Yes they can produce twins, however, births of viable twins are actually quite rare about 4% of twin births result in 2 viable foals. Most mares in foal with twins will have one viable foal, or they will abort both twins because the two placentas will not support foals once they get to a certain size. Often, if there is a large difference in placentation between the two fetuses the smaller fetus will die and either mummify or decay. Mummification of one fetus will often allow the other fetus to develop to term. The production of identical twins is much rarer still.
There are medications that can be used to abort a fetus or embryo. Lutalyse and Pitocin are two of them. If the goal is a live foal, it's usually best to let nature work its magic and wait until he/she is born naturally, making sure post-maturity doesn't become a problem.
There are two types of abortions, medical and surgical. Medical abortions are only effective in the first trimester of pregnancy and are caused by pharmaceutical drugs. They are responsible for about 10% of abortions. Surgical abortions are probably the type of abortions you are referring to, and consist of different methods. One of the most common is vacuum abortion. You remove the fetus by suction from a syringe. If the pregnancy is aborted in a later stage, a type of lethal injection is often used to stop the heart of the unborn fetus.
There are two broad categories of abortions: spontaneous and medical. Spontaneous abortions happen randomly. Some of the reasons a female will spontaneously abort include: severe genetic defects in the fetus, physical inability to carry the fetus to term (such as scarring of the uterine wall that prevents or limits placentation), uterine trauma or infection in the uterus, placenta or fetus. Medical abortions are due to humans proactively attempting to cause the fetus to be expelled from the female. Some reasons for this include: severe fetal genetic defect (such as Tay-Sachs, Down's syndrome, etc.), inability of the female to carry the fetus to term (uterine scarring, etc.), conscious decision to terminate the pregnancy for personal reasons (financial, emotional, mental, social, etc.) or medical complications (ie, carrying the fetus to term may cause the death of the mother).
Yes. I was on Depo for approximately 10 years with NO period and then to the pill for about a year with controlled periods. I have since stopped taking ANY type of birth control and have had long 2 week periods and even two full periods a month. It will eventually regulate if not ask Dr. about Provera.
Fetal, as in fetus. Same as othermammals.
