Yes it will. It takes time You can use it everyday , mix it with your shampoo or conditioner or both and leave it on each time for at least 3 minutes before you rinse it out. If you use shampoo and condition its best to put it in the conditioner so it will not get washed away so easy with your shampoo. Nestle unsweetened works the best.
Lately I have been using it another way which is:
I use it to cover Gray. I have a big blush brush, I pour some coco powder in a compact powder container. Put my blush brush into the powder and apply lightly to my hair , take my finger tips and kinda rub it into my scalp so you can't see splotches, my scalp is very light, with light brown hair and gray. The Coco powder makes my scalp a little darker making my hair look thicker plus with every other day use is making my hair non greasy and making the gray look golden and my brown hair is darker. It works for me.

scrape what looks like powder of the stick of chalk and rub it on your hair :)From what I have read about it, you dampen your hair then rub the color chalk on your hair then let it dry (not blow dry) The more you use the darker it will be. It should stay 1-2 days or until you wash it.
I avoid shampooing and conditioning my hair everyday because the more I shampoo, the more oil my scalp produces. To clean my hair and reduce the oil, I use cornstarch. Rub a small amount of cornstarch to the root; leave it for a few minutes to absorbs oil; brush it out. There are some alternatives to cornstarch:Baby powder, best for lighter hair.Cocoa powder, best for darker hair.
Yes, for some people, hair can appear darker as they get older due to a decrease in the production of melanin, the pigment that gives hair its color. This decrease in melanin can make hair look darker and more saturated. Additionally, natural graying of hair can create a contrast that makes the remaining dark hair appear darker.
