Believe it or not a raw diet is the best food for your dog. However you should never feed cooked anything. Chicken bones that have been cooked are brittle and hard to digest. They are especially prone to become a choking hazard.
Yes. The raw diet is becoming more popular among dog owners today. Many claim dogs who eat raw meat rather than cooked meat or processed dog food have substantially better health. Be careful though because dogs who aren't used to eating raw meat may have trouble tearing and chewing (especially the skin and bones). You may have to grind or mince the meat.
Unless you are planning on cooking it, i wouldn't feed a dog raw meat.
Feeding your dog raw meat is not recommended. It can contain bacteria and parasites such as the tapeworm. Feeding your dog raw meat would not change its temperament though. I recommend feeding a good name brand of dry dog food. It contains all the vitamins and minerals needed by your dog, plus is much easier to digest than raw meat.
Raw meat is a dog's natural food. Other than the important fact that your dog can pick up bacteria and harmful parasites such as the tapeworm from eating raw meat from some sources, nothing happens if you feed a dog raw meat. Doing that will not change their temperament. The claim that feeding a dog raw meat will make it meaner is an old wives tale.
use raw meat on the dog a few times. Or bones.
It has bacteria on it such as, Samonella or E.Coil when it is raw meat
Dogs eat Raw Meat.
no but they will to hot dog beef
None! Raw meat may contain bacteria and parasites that can can be life threatening to dogs. Even if your dog can consume raw eat without getting sick, it is not good for thier digestive system. Dog food is made for a reason. If you insist on feeding your dog meat, please prepare it like you would a meal for yourself. Be sure to cook it thoroughly at the correct temperature to kill any harmful organisms. Also, raw meat does not alter a dogs temperment if thats what your trying to do...
It depends. If you want to make it fat, give him the whole chunk of meat.
Somethin nutritious for a dog to eat on a regular basis instead of dogfood is raw meat.
Feeding raw chicken as part of their regular diet is fine. It's not the best not to mix kibble and raw meat however, in small amounts it shouldn't matter. I currently feed my dogs on a prey model diet and raw chicken + bones is the staple food of that diet.
