Almost definitely. WikiAnswers can only give you answers to specific questions that you ask now and then. Reading books will give you lots of background information that will help you answer those questions that you would otherwise go onto WikiAnswers for.
Obviously if you read "My First Touchy-Feely Book" it's not going to give you information. On the other hand reading the entire collection of Encyclopedia Britannica would be way too boring. But reading interesting books is still pretty informative.
If you read uniquely a kind of book (science, for example) you'll get more knowledge on that issue, and the matter will be stored in your memory. Reading stuffs sparsely won't make you smarter, because the brain doesn't know how to memorise what really counts for you. But, you you choose a category to follow on WikiAnswers, now you have more advantages. You'll learn, and the answers, if they're from a trusted source, will be retained permanently.
