Most of the religions especially Islam has rules and laws pertaining to trade and commerce. That's why Islamic countries have Islamic banking system, Interest on loans and deposits are prohibited. Investments in non Islamic financial institutions, liquor business is prohibited. Capitalism is not allowed and holding of goods or destroying the goods for hiking up the prices is forbidden and many more such terms do exist in Islamic trade and commerce. As for other religions there are no such terms. Jew-ism also have some rules like they cannot give loans on interest to their brothers but can be given to others. So the basic thing is whatever is prohibited in one s religion he or she cannot trade in commodity. where as people of other religion in whose religion it is not prohibited deals in it. So religions across the world do influence trade and commerce.
